In the month of July, the company saw a 12 per cent growth in the A2 segment -- where it sells models like Zen, Wagon R, Alto and Swift. It sold a total of 25,477 units against 22,833 units in the same month last year.

Combined sales of the 'Omni' and 'Versa' models is up 18 per cent to 6,043 units in July '05 against 5,119 units in the same month last year.

However, sales of the 'Gypsy' and 'Vitara' models were down 39 per cent to 205 units (334).
