India and Pakistan can now run additional buses on the Delhi-Lahore route depending on passenger demand, official sources said on Monday.
A renewed agreement between India and Pakistan on running the bus service came into force from Monday.
The possibility of running more buses on the route was discussed at technical-level talks between the officials of the Delhi Transport Corporation and their Pakistani counterparts in Islamabad in January.
The DTC team was led by its Managing Director A J Sawhney.
