The Bombay High Court on Friday adjourned a petition from suspended police sub-inspector Daya Nayak seeking anticipatory bail in a disproportionate assests case till Monday and stayed his arrest till Tuesday.
The interim protection against his arrest, as well as those of his wife Komal and associate Rajendra Padte granted by the high court on Thursday, was extended till Tuesday.
The High Court adjourned the hearing, as the order of the Sessions Court rejecting his anticipatory bail was not available with it.
