Bharatiya Janata Party chief Rajnath Singh will lead a delegation of the BJP and other parties in Goa, which are supporting installation of BJP-led government there, and parade all supporting legislators before President Pratibha Patil.

This will be the first political delegation Pratibha would be receiving after taking over as the head of state from her predecessor A P J Abdul Kalam.

"BJP delegation will be meeting President Pratibha Patil at 1 pm to present their case on Goa," a senior Rashtrapati Bhavan official confirmed to rediff.com.

BJP had threatened to parade all the MLAs who want Manohar Parrikar as chief minister of the state in case Governor S C Jamir refuses to invite Parrikar to form government, despite the fact that he has the support of 21 MLAs.

Parrikar had met Jamir on Friday evening and handed him over a letter of support from 21 MLAs and staked claim to form the government.
