Six Indian fishermen, arrested last week for allegedly fishing in Pakistan's territorial waters illegally, have been sent to a Karachi prison after the completion of court proceedings against them.
Pakistani authorities had arrested the six fishermen 80 nautical miles from the Pakistani coast on Saturday. They were sent to jail on Monday, police said.
The fishermen were identified as Gashen, Sinoo, Babu, Ramesh, Sandar and Ramesh. Their boat was also seized.
