Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived in Paris on Monday evening from Marseilles after attending the ninth India-European Union summit.
Singh will meet French President Nicolas Sarkozy in Paris on Tuesday, during which India and France are expected to sign a landmark civilian nuclear deal.
An Indian official said India and France may also initial a bilateral social security pact.
Under the planned agreement, more than two lakh Indians in France will be eligible to avail social security benefits. The Union Cabinet had on September 18 approved the terms for signing the pact.
The Prime Minister will return home tomorrow wrapping up his 10-day long visit to Germany, United States and France.
