It's hard to imagine any President more popular in his time.

It's equally hard to recall any other President who has criss-crossed the country as often as President A P J Abdul Kalam, meeting a cross-section of people, inspiring their faith in a new India. A resurgent India.

Igniting minds, young minds especially, has been President Kalam's single-minded focus through his tenure in Rashtrapati Bhavan. Of course, he has opened up the confines of India's highest office, but awakening young students across the country to the endless possibilities of India's potential has been his biggest contribution in office.

When we approached his office with a request to address children through rediff.com -- an event that will also inaugurate our yearlong 10th anniversary celebrations -- President Kalam graciously consented to do so, on Children's Day, November 14, 2005.

It is with a great sense of honour that we announce the rediff.com Special Anniversary Chat with President Kalam.

We invite children and students to join the President for an online discussion on his vision for India 2020, education and what you can do for our great nation on Children's Day between 6 pm and 6.45 pm IST.

The President will choose the questions to answer from those that were submitted till 12 noon, IST, on Monday, November 14, 2005.

Don't miss this historic opportunity!
