1975PRUDENTIAL WORLD CUP 1979 - A STATISTICAL SURVEY The second edition of the World Cup was played on the heels of Kerry Packer's World Series of Cricket.

The 60-over-a-side tournament, also in England, featured as many gams and the same format of the 1975 event. The West Indies emerged overwhelming winners.
